Employer Accomodations

This year’s Cook County Bar Association Minority Law Student Job Fair will take place on Friday, August 8, 2008 at the Embassy Suites Downtown/Lakefront Hotel located at 511 North Columbus Drive, Chicago, Illinois 60611. All Job Fair interviews will be conducted in two-room suites with separate bedroom and seating areas.

Because interviews begin early Friday morning, many employers wish to reserve overnight accommodations in their interview suite on the Thursday preceding the Job Fair. Employers are welcome to stay in their interview suites through the weekend to enjoy summertime in downtown Chicago. Please make all interviewer overnight accommodation reservations by utilizing the form linked at the bottom of this page.

Reservations for Primary Interviewers

Employers wishing to reserve overnight accommodations in their respective interview suites on Thursday, August 7, Friday, August 8, and/or Saturday, August 9, 2008, may do so at a rate of $199.00 per night (plus all applicable taxes and incidental fees). Reservations can be made for any or all of those days. In any event, reservations for overnight accommodations in the employer interview suites must be made by completing the linked form and returning it to Lucille A. Blackburn by May 9, 2008. The CCBA will provide employers with a confirmation number for their interview suite overnight accommodations reservation on or before July 11, 2008.

In the event an employer needs to cancel their reservation for overnight accommodations in their interview suite, please note that all cancellations must be received by Lucille A. Blackburn in writing (via email or fax) by July 11, 2008. Failure to submit a timely written cancellation will result in your firm/organization incurring the costs for the nights reserved.
